High school students from LCSD showcased their creativity at the Wayne County Council for the Arts Exhibit. Their work was displayed alongside impressive pieces from students in surrounding school districts. The exhibit highlighted the talent, passion, and artistic growth of young artists in the region. A special thanks goes to the LCSD art teachers for helping our students harness the power of creativity.
Mrs. Dorrington worked with 1st graders in her “Walk to Skills” group, helping them practice sounding out two-syllable words featuring r-controlled vowels like -ar and -or. Through engaging activities, students strengthened their decoding and reading skills.
Students at the middle school and high school posed for photos with staff member Mr. Franklin and our School Resource Officer, TJ Radka, capturing moments of connection and community. The photos showcased the positive relationships built within the school.
Mrs. Cheney worked closely with middle school students, guiding them through strategies to strengthen their reading comprehension and literacy skills. Her small group instruction provided students with focused support and meaningful growth.
LCSD seniors are making unforgettable memories on their senior trip to Disney World, enjoying the parks and sharing special moments with friends. The photos capture the excitement, laughter, and magic of their adventure.
