Mission Statement

The mission of the Lyons Central School District Counseling Department is to meet the individual needs of all students while supporting the social, academic and physical development of all students by providing students with information, resources, and guidance through a comprehensive developmental school counseling program. The services provided by the school counselors create and improve systems and programs that provide opportunities for students to maximize their potential while developing the knowledge, skills, abilities and character needed to demonstrate college, career and civic readiness.
