Update from Dr. Barr - November 11, 2022
The Lyons CSD Strategic Planning Council met for the second time on Thursday, November 10, 2022. The Planning Council worked with the University of Rochester Strategic Planning Team to continue the work to develop the district’s next Strategic Plan. The Planning Council members continue to include the Superintendent, School Administration, Board of Education, teachers, staff members, students, parents, and community members.
Planning Council members invested time reading a Perception Report and a Survey Report. The reports were inclusive of information received from district and community stakeholders, including students. Planning Council members identified strengths and weaknesses, and shared findings about a wide range of school-related items. Members analyzed the information and began developing concepts and themes that will be used as future action items.
The Lyons CSD Planning Council will meet again on November 30, 2022 to continue the work to develop the district’s next Strategic Plan.
