students onstage reading from scripts with black and white footage of Dr. King playing behind them

JANUARY 17, 2023 — On Friday, January 13th, students and staff at Lyons Elementary School celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with an afternoon assembly. The event included singing throughout, with the LES Chorus both performing as well as leading singalongs with the audience.
