MARCH 6, 2023 – Our boys basketball team has advanced to the NYS Qualifier game of Section V Class C after winning the Class C3 tournament on Sunday. They will play Northstar Christian at Marcus Whitman High School on Tuesday, March 7th at 7:00pm. The winner of this game will advance to another qualifier game, which will take place on Thursday, March 9th at Avon High School vs. Pembroke.
TICKETS Tickets for this game are CASHLESS. They must be purchased through GoFan here. The cost for each ticket is $7.30. Please have your ticket before you attend the event. It is also helpful to download the GoFan app to your phone and purchase it this way. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR.
SPECTATOR BUS A spectator bus will be available for those who would like a ride. All community members must bring ID and will be subject to a RAPTOR screening prior. The bus will leave at 5:30pm from the front of Lyons High School. Students grades 9-12 will be allowed to ride without a parent, but must adhere to district policies on the trip. Please sign up for a spot via this Google form.
SPORTSMANSHIP AND EXPECTATIONS If you plan on attending, I would advise you to arrive early in order to find a seat. Please remember to ACT APPROPRIATELY towards coaches, security, other fans, our players, and officials. You will be asked to leave if you do not behave. Be positive and cheer on our team.
PAID STREAMING A stream of the game will take place on the Section V Broadcast Network. Search for Section V Broadcast Network in your app store or visit Section V. The stream IS NOT FREE. Please pre-purchase so you do not have any issues. It is $8 to watch the Lyons game.
