MAY 2, 2023 – The New York State Sportswriters Association has named Jayla Bell, Lyons High School class of 2025, and Kamryn Bonnell, Lyons High School class of 2026, to their All-State honors list for the 2022-2023 season.
Sophomore Jayla Bell, who scored her 1000th career point during a January 24th match vs. Geneva, made the NYSSWA Girls Class C 2nd Team. Bell also was selected to the All-Greater Rochester Girls Basketball 2023 Team for her sophomore season.
Bell’s per-game averages this season include 22 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals.
Ninth grader Kamryn Bonnell was chosen for the NYSSWA Girls Class C 14th Team.
Bonnell’s per-game averages this season include 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
