MAY 18, 2023 – Students across the district are feeling the positive, orange vibes as they round the corner on the final week of their student-led LCSD Food and Goods Drive.
Due to the lessons about happiness and kindness learned in the Lyons CSD Orange Frog program, students from Lyons Elementary, Middle, and High Schools decided to come together to give back to families that are in need.
The drive benefits Family Promise, whose mission is "to help families experiencing homelessness and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response."
Students are collecting food and goods for Family Promise through Thursday, May 25th.
Items the students are requesting include:

- 100% fruit juice
