Lyons Central School District is pleased to share that Athletic Director Zachary Young has been recognized by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) as a Certified Athletic Administrator. The Certified Athletic Administrator distinction is reserved for an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators nationwide who reach this level of professionalism.
Mr. Young stated that he is looking forward to using concepts and ideas learned from the NIAAA as well as "continuing to work with our student athletes, coaches, and community to make Lyons Athletics the best program we can possibly be.”
To earn this distinction, Mr. Young demonstrated the highest level of knowledge and expertise in the field of interscholastic athletic administration.
The voluntary certification process included a thorough evaluation of Mr. Young’s educational background, experience, and professional contributions, as well as a rigorous, comprehensive written examination.
