Baseball: Zachary Stone
Zac has shown leadership and improvement on the field and in the dugout in his senior campaign. He is leading the team in most statistical categories at the plate.
Softball: Rylee Richardson
Rylee is leading the team with a batting average of .676 including 11 doubles, 27 runs scored and 37 stolen bases. She also has 105 strikeouts in 49 innings pitched.
Girls Track and Field: Kaylea Wagner
Kaylea continues to perform well in the shot and discuss taking first place in both the Wayne County Invitational and the Lyons Invite.
Boys Track and Field: Jawil “Buddha” Sirmons
Jawil has been a top performer for the month of April for the Varsity Track and Field team. He has regularly placed in the top 3 in each of his individual sprint events: The 100-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter races. . He is also a member of the 4x100m relay team which has shown success this spring season as well. Most significantly, Jawil attends practice everyday and his work ethic during practice has become contagious amongst the rest of his teammates. Jawil posted a personal record in the 400m race with a time of 56.0 seconds which is the fastest 400 time that Lyons has had in nearly a decade. Great job Jawil, keep up the great work!
Boys Tennis: Angelo Card
Angelo has shown great improvement since the start of the year and won his first Varsity match this season. He is dedicated to the team and works very hard at practice.
