The Lyons Central School District is pleased to announce that Mrs. Heather Randell has been appointed as the new principal of Lyons High School and will transition from her role as the Lyons Elementary School Assistant Principal.
Randell joined the Lyons Central School District in 2022 and has an extensive background as a teacher and administrator. After over 20 years in the classroom, Randell brought her exceptional leadership and commitment to fostering academic excellence to her role as the Assistant Principal at Lyons Elementary School. She brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to her new role as the High School Principal, promising a dynamic and inclusive educational environment for all students.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce Mrs. Renee Schott, who championed the Middle and High School Principal roles over the past academic year, has been appointed as the new Lyons Middle School Principal. With over 18 years in the Lyons Central School District, Schott is excited to focus on the success and growth of Lyons Middle School students as the Middle School Principal. This shift will allow her to dedicate efforts to middle school students' unique needs and development. "I look forward to continuing to work with our wonderful staff, supportive parents, and amazing students. Together as a team, we will continue to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for our middle school students," said Schott.
