Band practice is in full swing! Our 4th graders are making beautiful music together as they learn new instruments and develop their skills. We can’t wait to see them shine in their upcoming performances!

Science in action! Mr. Atkinson's class dove into a diffusion simulation, exploring how molecules move across a membrane in their Homeostasis unit. From watching water flow to testing which molecules sneak through barriers, they discovered the cool ways our cells manage balance—with or without a boost of energy!
The MS/HS Instructional Coaches, Mrs. Champlain, and Mrs. Webb launched a professional book study with 16 dedicated MS/HS teachers diving into The Writing Revolution! Together, they’re exploring strategies to enhance student thinking and writing skills across all content areas.
Celebrating Red Ribbon Week! Our elementary students had a wonderful time at the assembly, where they learned about the importance of making healthy choices and staying drug-free. They also enjoyed a movie presented by the Lyons High School Leadership Class. Together, we are building a brighter and healthier future!

Our students are hard at work on a reconstruction jigsaw puzzle, exploring primary source documents that delve into the meaning of freedom post-Civil War. They’re also learning about the vital significance of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments in shaping our nation’s path toward equality. A hands-on way to understand our history and its impact today!
