The LES small gym became a fall wonderland for the Kids' Harvest Festival! Students celebrated with festive stations, enjoying games, crafts, and Halloween treats. Thank you to everyone who made this day so memorable!
Mrs. Zulauf's 3rd graders dove into a collaborative math lesson this week, working in groups to share ideas and solve problems. Way to go, young mathematicians!
In Ms. George's 7th-grade science class, students enjoyed becoming "experts" on topics during their Chemical Reaction Unit. They researched and created colorful posters that showcased their subjects. During the gallery walk, everyone explored and learned from their classmates' impressive displays, sparking curiosity and sharing knowledge!
In Ms. Ledgerwood's 4th grade class, the students enjoyed exploring words through an inquiry-based lesson on synonyms and antonyms! They got to work together to sort synonyms for "good" and "bad," arranging them from the worst to the best. It was a great way for everyone to learn and share their ideas!
Our Spanish teacher, Ms. Hernandez, hosted a fun afterschool activity to celebrate Día de los Muertos! Students learned about the traditions, created colorful decorations, and honored this beautiful cultural celebration. Thank you, Ms. Hernandez, for bringing this experience to life!
A huge shoutout to Mrs. Webber and Mrs. Aunkst for organizing some Halloween-themed gym activities! The students had a blast with spooky games and festive challenges that kept them moving and laughing.
