The Middle-High School celebrated our students' hard work and achievements in earning MTSS Merit, Honor, and High Honor Roll status with a fun ice cream social. It was a wonderful way to honor their dedication and inspire continued excellence!

This week in Mr. Lawson’s Career and Finance Management class, students learned about the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and its role in regulating the stock market. They also explored the concept of insider trading and why it is an illegal practice. This engaging lesson is part of the unit on investing in the stock market and planning for retirement, equipping students with valuable knowledge for their financial futures!
Students in Mrs. Spencer’s 1st-grade class worked on a festive Thanksgiving-themed activity, coloring by sight words. This engaging lesson combined creativity and literacy skills, helping students build their vocabulary while getting into the holiday spirit!
Students learn together through the Peer Tutoring Program, working collaboratively to support each other’s learning. This program fosters teamwork, strengthens understanding, and builds confidence as students share their knowledge and skills. It’s a powerful way to grow together and achieve academic success!
Students in the Leadership and Community Class are wrapping up their heartfelt gratitude projects for November. From creating colorful kindness rocks to writing thoughtful pen pal letters for Mrs. DeCracker’s 4th-grade class, these projects embody the spirit of thankfulness and connection. A wonderful way to inspire kindness and community!
This week, printmaking students had an incredible experience working with renowned printmaker Ronald Netsky at Nazareth University. Senior thesis student Jude guided them in exploring stone lithography and cardboard intaglio techniques. The workshop introduced them to advanced tools not typically found in our high school art studio. The students returned excited and ready to experiment in the studio!
In Mr. Askin's 6th-grade class, students are developing their critical thinking and writing skills by creating argumentative essays about the advantages and disadvantages of technology. Through research and structured writing, they learn to present balanced viewpoints on this important topic while building essential communication skills for the future!
