Save the Date: 9th Grade Students & Families Informational Meeting Weds., 9/27, 5PM LGI Room Topics will include: meet the 9th grade team, changes to expect as a HS student, the importance of attendance, preparing for state testing, graduation requirements, and post HS planning!

Please note the LES Playground Hours which begin Monday, September 11th for the 2023-24 school year. 2:20-5PM is reserved for the After-School Program only. Open Community Hours begin at 5PM. Thank you!

New Teacher Week was led by our fantastic Instructional Coaches earlier this summer and offered the team a chance to get to know each other and learn what being a Lion is all about. Dr. Sim Covington, Jr., Inaugural Chief Diversity Officer for Finger Lakes Community College, will be our first guest in this multi-community, year-long series focusing on Diversity, Equity, Advocacy, and Learning (D.E.A.L.) Plus, come early for FREE ice cream from Dar's Delights HomeMade Ice Cream starting at 4:30PM! Dr. Covington is the first African-American to serve as an Executive Cabinet Member for FLCC. In this role, Dr. Covington is responsible for supporting all aspects of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for all segments of the institution, creating a welcoming atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff.

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Snack Program is back for the 2023-2024 school year! LES UPK-6th graders will be served a fresh fruit or vegetable, as a snack, to their classroom by 9:30am each school day. No cost and no sign-up required! Questions? Contact Jenn Tyler 🍎🥕
